first freshening udder single kid 10 hour fill
Ruth is a very special doe, being our first ever registered Nigerian Dwarf doe on our farm. In 2014 Ruthie kidded a single buckling as a first freshener. In 2016 she produced 2 gorgeous does, both of which earned their dry leg and have gone on to be very competitive milking does and their does have gone on to earn their restricted legs. In 2017 she gave us a doeling and buckling, the doeling has also earned her dry leg. In 2018 Ruth presented us with triplets, two does and a buck. Those two doelings are proving to follow in the footsteps of Ruth's previous daughters. 2019 buck/doe twins, again both retained. In 2021, Ruth gave us quad bucklings. Unfortunately, the kidding was not without compilations and Ruth sustained a torn uterus, followed by a nasty case of sepsis. After 2 months of intensive care, our girl was thriving again! Ruth has given us so much and being the foundation of our herd, we have decided to retire our special girl. We are so very blessed to have this doe!

Carolina Girl is sister to Clover (below), being just slightly larger. We love this doe! Excellent body capacity, beautiful rear, width, leg placement, a powerful doe yet with fine bone. We are excited to see Carolina Girl mature. As 2019 rolls around we couldn't be more happy with CarolinaGirl! She has matured beautifully! While CarolinaGirl is a strong, wide, deep, powerful doe she does not sacrifice dairy character. She is smoothly blended and very angular. CarolinaGirl is also proving herself through her offspring, We have 5 retained daughters from this doe and are thrilled with each and every one of her kids. She is a lovely doe all around! 2018 was a bit of a rough year for CarolinaGirl and her sister, Clover. With our long and busy kidding season CarolinaGirl was away from her sister and both does became very depressed. The two are inseparable. We hoped to get CarolinaGirl back out into the ring and get her the recognition she very well deserves.
Kidding end of May 2019 she missed all the spring shows. Fall shows she hit the ring again. with her beautiful sister Happy to say she earned her 2nd leg at NC Mountain State Fair under Judge Jane Bailey (pictured above) and 2 weeks later earned her 3rd leg under Judge Erica Illg, went on to compete and win in a highly competitive champion challenge class to be awarded Best of Breed. Champion status is pending.
The show year for 2019 ended with a BANG! Carolina Girl awarded GCH/BIS/BUB BUS Supreme CH in the huge highly competitive youth show as well as RCH and BUB in Open show!
With her daughter BJDIS as well in Open. Huge accomplishment and we are so very blessed!
After having 2020 off, CarolinaGirl had a fantastic season in 2021! She was 3x BOB and earned her permanent score 92 EEEE! At the ADGA National show CarolinaGirl made the cut and placed well in the massive class of 5-6 year old milkers. During 2022 National Show, Carolina was 7th place 5-6 year old and was part of the 3rd place Best three Senior does, 4th Place Dairy herd, and 4th place Dam & Daughter!

Clover And Carolina Girl are sisters and inseparable! Clover is slightly smaller than her sister. She is a lovely young doe with great potential. She has excellent body capacity, smooth topline, and well placed feet and legs. She has great depth of body, spring of rib, and stands with her hind legs perpendicular to her hock and pastern. She is also one of our most personable nigerians on the farm :-) We are excited to see how this lovely doe progresses. Unfortunately we were unable to get Clover into the ring in 2018. 2018 was a bit of a rough year for Clover and her sister, CarolinaGirl. With our long and busy kidding season Clover was away from her sister and both does became very depressed. We were unable to get Clover into the ring. but we are ecstatic to get her back in the spotlight in 2019! Her first and only spring show of 2019 Clover was Grand Champion, earning her second leg towards her Championship!
Fall shows she has held her own alongside her sister. Clover along with her sister are often pulled out along with another doe to determine those first 3 placings. We love how she is neck and neck with her sister. Very special girl indeed!
2021 update-
After a long year off of showing, Clover was able to finish out her championship at her first show in 2021! We are so happy that both of the sisters (CarolinaGirl and Clover) are now SGCH. To top it off, Clover was awarded her permanent score of VVEE 90 during our summer Linear Appraisal. So proud of this sweet doe.

Red Hot AKA Peanut as a Junior Doe
Red Hot aka Peanut is showing a striking resemblance to her half sisters Clover and Carolina Girl!
A different sire and different body style, the blending of the "new" and "old" style. We look forward to see how she develops.
As a yearling FF she produced quads. Currently on test and being a first time milker.

Red Hot is maturing into a lovely doe! Kidding quads again as a second freshener it has taken her time to build her body capacity up.
Red Hot has shown well for us in 2019 and we love what we see as this doe matures!
2021 update:
After suffering an eye injury, we gave her the year off for 2021. We had high hopes that she would finish in 2021, but life had other plans. She was dried off very early in the season, was not show and was not appraised to allow her to recover faster. We hope 2022 will be kinder to Red Hot!
2022 update:
She did it! Red Hot went Grand Champion Senior doe at her first 2022 show she was entered in. Red Hot is now SGCH Pending!

Totality & Eclipse's rear udders
Born on the day of the Total Eclipse and it was such a big deal we thought it fitting "Totality" & "Eclipse". Out of sync with the rest of our kiddings these two are their own "herd". CarolinaGirl never disappoints! Totality and Eclipse have both matured beautifully! We had high hopes to take Totality out in the show ring this past spring, however she had an an injury to her udder the week prior to our shows, so Totality had to stay home. Totality's first show as a milking doe was the 2021 ADGA National show! She handled the week-long show wonderfully, making the cut in a massive class and even placing 5th in the Produce of Dam class along with her half sister, Willow! Totality also scored excellent during Linear appraisal, a very impressive score of 91 EEEE as a second freshener! We could not be more proud of this doe! 2022 Update: Wow! What a year for Totality! 2x Grand Champion and 1x Best Senior Doe in Show. At the 2022 ADGA National Show, Totality was 4th Place 4 year old, part of the 2nd place Best 3 Senior does, 4th place dairy herd, and 4th place Dam & Daughter.
Sadly, Eclipse's year was not as bright. The year started rough when we nearly lost Eclipse to a horrible kidding. With our focus trying to keep our sweet Eclipse alive after the horrific kidding, we did not push milking or showing and allowed Eclipse to heal and recover at her own pace. We were grateful she made enough milk to be appraised, where she got an excellent score VEEV 90! We have decided to retire Eclipse and allow her to live out her days with her best friend and sister, Totality.

We are so pleased to have Paris & Berlin! This was a repeat breeding of Lil' Joe and Ruth! Our two favorite Nigerians! We love our Red goats, and we love our black goats so when these two came out half and half we sure got a kick out of them. Truly they are buckskin but we like to chuckle how they couldn't make up their mind. Both does are just so lovely. Lovely and extremely spoiled. You can tell them apart by their facial markings but more distinct the white poll on Paris. Paris is also polled. Typical baby Nigerians they are pouty and misbehave in the ring but they sure look good doing it! Very excited about these Ruth kids. We are hopeful that they will excel just as all their sisters have.
We have intentionally separated the sisters to two different areas on the farm because of the experience of their sisters (Carolina Girl and Clover). We feel that has helped the two become more independent and they are happy together as well as without each other.
Paris and Berlin are now second fresheners and we just love how these girls are maturing! Paris finished out her championship in spring 2021, and even went on to make the cut at the highly competitive ADGA National show! Both of these girls did fantastic during our Linear appraisal as well! Unfortunately, the shows we had planned to take Berlin to in 2021 were canceled due to Covid. We are hoping to have Berlin front and center during next year's show season!

Willow & Holly are two does we had originally planned on selling as we already have two does from their dam, CarolinaGirl. Once they were born we knew one would be staying, but in the end decided to keep both doelings! They remind us so much of their dam "CarolinaGirl", and their Grand-dam, "Ruth". Their debut into the show world as lil babies was State Fair, both does did very well in huge classes. Spring 2019 has started out well for Willow. Willow is turning out to be quite promising, earning her restricted leg and being our first Junior doe to be given Best (Jr doe) In Show. Several weeks later as Willow stayed home due to earning her restricted leg, Holly had her opportunity, winning her restricted leg by going GCH in the first ring. Both of these does are making us proud. 2020 UPDATE! In an effort to keep our herd numbers down, Holly was placed in a new home.
2021 Update! Willow is maturing beautifully! She has done exceptionally well in every show she has been entered in, including a 5th place Produce of Dam placing (along with Totality) at the 2021 ADGA National show! Willow also earned an excellent score during our 2021 Linear Appraisal session.

Scarlet is a doe that excited us from the moment she was born! Within minutes after birth is was clear that this doe would be a keeper. Once she was a few weeks old it was clear that this doe is made to be a show doe! Scarlet is an incredibly long, balanced doe who stands on very correct feet and legs. Scarlet easily earned her dry leg at her first show out! Being our first doeling from CUATLILREDBARN Kiegh *B we have great hopes for this young doe and are excited to see her freshen!
Scarlett freshened spring 2021 and we could not be more pleased with this doe! Scarlett is the "whole package" and is my favorite first freshener of 2021. We took Scarlett out on a whim to her first show as a milking doe where she went on to go Grand Champion and won Best Udder of Breed. Scarlett also received the highest final score possible for a First freshener, scoring VEEE 89! We love this doe so much, we will be leasing her littermate brother to use over a few of our top does.
2022 was a wonderful year for Scarlett! Scarlett easily finished her championship in the first ring of the first show she was entered in this year. Scarlett was also 2nd place/2nd udder 3 year old at the ADGA National Show! She was also part of the 2nd place Best 3 Senior does and 4th place dairy herd!
