Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little more about us, our practices and the goals we have for our small farm.We want you to know we absolutely love what we do here at Wingin’ it Farms. 

            The Planting of Seeds

Hebrews 11:1  Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Our farm started long before we ever purchased our first chicken. The seeds of prayer and faith, of a young child, were sown. It would be many years later, but those seeds of prayer and faith grew resulting in our small farm. The L-rd has grown our farm slowly, allowing us to learn more than we had ever anticipated. Our journey has allowed us to see his wonderful creation and his provision in a much deeper way. We have seen the joy of new life and experienced the sad reality of loss. We are continually learning and are thankful to those the L-rd has put in our path to support us and offer advice and wisdom.

                                     Our Farming Beliefs & Practices

Genesis 1:28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Our family believes that in "having dominion", we are actually called to be stewards over all that G-d has entrusted us with.  We choose to honor G-d by worshipping Him as the Creator over all of creation. As stewards,  we hope to honor G-d in all we do, to care for and nurture all that has been entrusted to us.  We know there will be hardships and challenges but we trust that in honoring

 G-d and being diligent in the care of the smallest creature to the largest, the tending of the fields, and the overall care of the land, He will bless our small farm. 

We believe that His creation is perfect.  We also believe when we allow our animals to live as closely to their natural environment and to live as they were designed and intended, our animals will be at their optimal health. In keeping with good stewardship, we feel, all that we have should be tended to in a diligent and humane manner. The health of the land is just as important to us as the health of our poultry and livestock. We are very thankful for His provisions and have learned to have a much greater appreciation for the animals that provide our food as well as the care of the land. Applying the wisdom of his word, in tending to our small farm, has allowed for us to see the rewards and benefits in His instruction. We are encouraged to see our animals and the land thriving.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works to the L-rd and your plans shall be established.

We hope to be a blessing to others through our small farm. Providing wholesome food as well as encouraging others in starting their own flocks and herds. Thank you for visiting our site. We welcome your questions as well as suggestions for how our site can be more helpful.
