Ruth is a very special doe, being our first ever registered Nigerian Dwarf doe on our farm. In 2014 Ruthie kidded a single buckling as a first freshener. In 2016 she produced 2 gorgeous does, SGCH Wings & Caprines CarolinaGirl 1*M EX92 and SGCH Wings & Caprines Sunnyday CLVR 2*M EX90. In 2017 she gave us a doeling and buckling, the doeling being SGCH Wings & Caprines IR Red Hot 2*M EX91. In 2018 Ruth presented us with triplets, two does and a buck. Those two does are CH Wings & Caprines LJR Paris EX91 and Wings & Caprines Berlin 2*M VG89. 2019 buck/doe twins. In 2021, Ruth gave us quad bucklings. Unfortunately, the kidding was not without compilations and Ruth sustained a torn uterus, followed by a nasty case of sepsis. After 2 months of intensive care, our girl was thriving again! Ruth has given us so much and being the foundation of our herd, we have decided to retire our special girl. We are so very blessed to have this doe!

Carolina is a tremendous doe, she and her sister Clover (below) were our first daughters from SG JNR Homestead Ruth 1*M VG89. What an amazing start for our little herd! Carolina exceeded all expectations, a doe that gave us so many "firsts". Our first champion leg earned, then our first finished champion, our first SGCH. She was our first EX90, then went on to be our first EX92. CarolinaGirl exemplifies dairyness and strength, while maintaining a lovely, well attached udder (with a 43 in fore udder attachment!) Carolina has truly helped shape the herd into what it is today.

Clover And Carolina Girl are sisters and inseparable! She has excellent body capacity, smooth topline, and well placed feet and legs. She has great depth of body, spring of rib, and stands with her hind legs perpendicular to her hock and pastern. She is also one of our most personable nigerians on the farm :-) We are were ecstatic to get her back in the spotlight in 2019! Her first and only spring show of 2019 Clover was Grand Champion, earning her second leg towards her Championship! 2021 update- After a long year off of showing, Clover was able to finish out her championship at her first show in 2021! We are so happy that both of the sisters (CarolinaGirl and Clover) are now SGCH. To top it off, Clover was awarded her permanent score of VVEE 90 during our summer Linear Appraisal. So proud of this sweet doe.

What can I say about this doe?! Those that know me know that Red Hot is a very dear doe to my heart. Not only is she beautiful, she has the sweetest, most soulful personality. Red Hot has had highs and lows. In 2020, she suffered a catastrophic brain/eye injury and lost all ability to walk. Somehow, we got through it and she had to relearn everything. How to be milked, how to function in a large herd, how to walk. Because of this, she was out our entire 2021 season. She has since exceeded all expectations. She has matured into a beautiful doe, was finally awarded that 91VEEE score I know she was worthy of, and finished her championship. Red Hot is a doe that keeps getting better and better with age, and while she is a coming 7 year old she is in the absolute prime of her life.
